Connecticut Veterans Organization

Helping Veterans with Benefits, Careers & Housing!

About our Organization

The Connecticut Veterans Organization has been founded on December 1, 2006 with operations beginning January 2, 2007.  Our mission is simple "The Connecticut Veterans Organization is a non-profit organization who helps veterans find jobs, housing and get the benefits that they deserve" Our goal is to assist all of our veterans in the great state of Connecticut who have served on active duty.   We have a heavy emphasis in assisting our veterans when they first come off of active duty.   As a veteran ourselves,  We know how difficult it can be to get on your feet when you first get off active duty so we make partnerships with employers and housing companies, so that we can help you our veterans in finding a job and getting an apartment.   We also help our veterans with budgets and other financial planning.   We help our veterans obtain VA Loans and Healthcare.  All of our members are volunteers including all of our executive officers.   We welcome anyone who is willing to help us help our veterans in any manor, whether by volunteering, donating, or providing employer support / housing support (Connections with employers/housing).

We welcome you to our next meeting, where you can meet with other volunteers and veterans, to obtain assistance or to find our how you can help.   Our meetings are held at 7pm on the Third Saturday of the month.   The location is posted on www.ctvo.org at least 20 days prior to the meeting date.
